Sergio DeSanto is Managing Partner of REP Architects, a Florida based office founded in 1985. DeSanto is a graduate of the University of Florida, Advanced Graduate School of Architecture. Prior to REP Architects Sergio was the lead designer and architect behind the projects of the Florida based and publicly traded C1 Bank - NYSE symbol "BNK". DeSanto led the design of C1 Bank's Prototype Building as well as four distinct project initiatives in the cities of St. Petersburg, Tampa, Sarasota and Miami. These projects are featured in his book Bank Job: Four Banks, Four Cities, Four Years. DeSanto is a recipient of an AIA Tampa Bay 40 under 40 and the AIA Eduardo Garcia Award. DeSanto currently leads projects in the sectors of government, university, urban planning and private equity. Sergio serves as an invited Critic and Public Speaker both at the University of Florida, Graduate School of Architecture and the University of South Florida, SACD.
